Procurement policy

Based on relationship of trust, Panasonic Group companies and our business partners aim to realize co-existence and mutual property as collaborators of quality goods, respecting for self-imposed responsibility management.

1.Even and fair trade

Panasonic Group companies procure necessary goods and services, and trade with business partners equally and fairly.

2.Fair selection of business partners

Panasonic Group companies gives opportunities to trade to business partners regardless of their nationalities. In addition, giving equal opportunities to trade, and clarifying procedures, we select business partners in accordance with fair and reasonable criteria based on quality, delivery date, price, security and environment.

3.Respect for self-imposed responsibility management

Panasonic Group companies respect for self-imposed responsibility management of business partner. Furthermore, we prosper each other through our trade, also we make an effort to keep and enhance long-term growth and competitiveness.

4.Carry out Clean procurement activity

Panasonic Group companies observe CSR/Compliance. In addition, we follow up and carry out "Conscious and system not to bring personal affairs into the process of materials procurement" in-company and outside,regarding "Fair" materials procurement trade as an important item.

  1. We are declining meal invitations from business partners, excepting events which we have.
    We regard no-host party or fifty-fifty dinner (business table which is paid by the company) as same as above mentioned.
  2. We are declining golf or trip with business partners, excepting events which we have.
    We regard no-host or fifty-fifty golf/trip (or events paid by the company) as same as above-mentioned.We are refusing golf/trip on weekdays absolutely.
  3. We never accept any gift items, such as summer gift or year-end gift.
  4. We never accept money (Including "Gratuity" etc.) and cash voucher such as cheque, gift coupon and book coupon.
  5. We never acquire stock of business partner based on insider information, or pre-listed shares of business partners.
  6. We never receive the discount of products of business partners.
  7. We never accept personal profit sharing.
